With Application Whitelist, you can specify which applications are allowed to run on your system. This is useful if you want to prevent unknown applications from running.
If you activate Application Whitelist while applications are already running, any changes will not take effect until said application is restarted.
Do note that Application Whitelist does not remove any applications from your system, it only changes whether or not they are allowed to be started. Whitelisting an application will automatically block any applications not whitelisted from running.
To whitelist an application, follow these instructions.
First, go to Settings > Application Whitelist
Here, you can view which applications have been previously whitelisted or blacklisted, as well as add and remove new applications.
To whitelist an application, click on ... next to Add. This will open the File Browser where you can navigate to an application and select it.
Once you've selected the application you want to add, select White next to the three dots, and then click on Add.
Your application should now appear in the list under Whitelisted Applications.
Finally, click the checkbox for Application Whitelist to activate the feature, and then hit the Apply button to apply your changes.
