Sometimes Ultra AV may trigger a false positive when trying to download a file, launching an application, or installing an application. These false positives may interfere with what you want to do. Instead of uninstalling Ultra AV to fix the issue, you can temporarily disable Ultra AV, which stops the application from interfering.
This is not recommended to do unless you are sure that the file or application you are trying to download or launch is clean, as disabling Ultra AV may result in your computer getting infected with malware.
Disabling Ultra AV
To disable UltraAV, click on the Ultra AV icon in the System Tray, and then click the Activity Monitor button. You'll get a warning message when you do that, asking you to verify for how long you want to disable Active Protection.
UltraAV will now be disabled for the period of time you specified.
