With UltraAV, you have access to multiple settings on the application. Please follow the guide to understand each of these settings. 

Scan Options

Quick Scan: This will enable a quick scan on your computer. 

Custom Scan: You can manually select the files you want to be scanned. 

Full Scan: This will do a full scan of your entire device. This scan will be the longest scan you will do since it will scan every file on your device. 

Schedule Scan:  With this option, you can set a time you want to manually scan your device. It can be in the middle of the night or on a weekend.  

Scan Report

Scan Report: This will show you a detailed view of the scans you have done. This will show the files that were scanned and if they were detected with a virus or not. 

Updates

Updates: This will let you know of live updates that are happening with the application or if there are any updates available for the application. 

Settings

Custom: Enabling this feature will provide you with Real-time protection. Real-time protection refers to a security mechanism or feature that actively monitors and defends against threats in real-time, as they occur.

Exclude: With exclude you are able to put in any file you want to be excluded from any type of scan. These files can be important and if you don't want them flagged and removed, please place the file in the exclude section. 

Recover

Recover: When a file is scanned and UltraAV detects a virus with the file it will quarantine the file for you to choose if you want to delete it or recover it. If you choose to recover files if they have either been falsely flagged or they are important you can recover the files in this section. You can also recover and exclude the file from your next scan.
